Paul warns that the greatest deception facing Christians today is self-deception—living for ourselves while claiming to love God. We reap what we sow: sow to the flesh and reap corruption, sow to the Spirit and reap eternal life. Without the indwelling Holy Spirit, nothing else matters. Don’t lose heart—hang in there, stay in the fight, and while you have opportunity, do good to all people, especially your brothers and sisters in Christ.
